Chief of Police
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Village Administrator, the Chief of Police plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the Police Department, including law enforcement, crime prevention, and crime suppression programs; coordinates assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Village Administrator.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Village Administrator, the Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, developing, and writing inquiries, letters, and proposals requesting funds to support the Village of Robbins’ programs and services. The Grant Writer will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring proposals, their deadlines, and requirements. This position includes maintaining accurate computer and hard copy records of documents, phone calls, and visits of funders and prospects. The Grant Writer creates, shares, and writes content for the Village of Robbins’ social media pages.
Water Clerk
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Water Billing Supervisor, the Water Clerk maintains records for our water and sewer utility customers, including meter reading, books, billing ledgers, payment posting, consumption history, and sewer billing. The Water Clerk will be responsible for cash receipting and providing customer service. In addition to this, there may be work projects that need to be produced in a timely manner and other office tasks as deemed necessary.

Single Role EMT
Position Summary
This Village of Robbins Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Single role EMT-B. This position is responsible for but not limited to, emergency medical services including ambulance transportation, and assisting suppression crews with fire ground and rescue operations.
Water Operator (Laborer)
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Water Operator Supervisor and/or Water Superintendent. The water operator will be responsible for the maintenance and general operations of the drinking water and waste water for the Village of Robbins. This position requires technical skills, basic fundamental knowledge, and assertiveness to get the job done.
Code Enforcer I
Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Building Director, the Code Enforcer I will be responsible for inspecting, enforcing, and investigating property maintenance through municipal, zoning, buildings, and other Village codes to ensure the enhancement of the community is maintained to protect the safety and visual appearance for all citizens we serve.
